All important subjects in particle theories are in one book.
All important subjects, from the standard model to the string theory, are adequately provided for the students who major in particle theory. I have never imagine that anyone can write these contents in one book of 496 pages

The Peach Tree Family Cookbook
The Peach Tree Tea Room in Fredericksburg, TX is a delightful place to visit, browsing and shopping in the gift shop before and after having lunch. It is a place I, and other devoted patrons, return to time and again, for ambience and food. The cookbook represents the fare at the tea room, like the corn and potato chowder and garlic-jalapeno-potato bread--delicious there and made at home! The recipes are easy to follow with good results, and what a variety of recipes. Another reason the cookbook is so good!

Peach Tree is a Peach
My wife had this cookbook when we got married in 1993, and she frequently consults it for everyday cooking and frequent entertaining. Although we have not tried every recipe in the book, of the dozens we have tried, all are delicious. As the chief cook in our house, my wife, Joy, likes the logical organization of the recipes and their easy-to-read style. As the chief eater in our house, I like the way Peach Tree recipes taste.

I am a US diplomat, and we entertain guests often at our home in Bangladesh. This cookbook has earned our trust to the point that we have used it to plan dinner parties, without testing the recipes ahead of time. The Peach Tree Cookbook (as it is called at our house) has never let us down.

Excellent Source for the Backyard Observer
If you're a backyard or weekend wildlife observer, this is the perfect book for you. Put it in your backpack, pocket, glove box or camper and always be ready to identify! The illustrations are excellent and provide enough detail to know one similar frog from another. If you're looking for some biological detail, go for a bigger book, but this one is great for quick ID.

The phantom and Barnabas Collins
Published in Unknown Binding by ()
Author: W. E. D. Ross

Gripping Gothic horror
While visiting a grave in the Collinwood cemetery, Maggie Evans suddenly finds herself transported to Collinwood in 1880, and with a case of total amnesia. She doesn't recognize the kindly people around her, only Barnabas Collins, a cousin visiting from England. However, the dream world around her quickly turns to a nightmare when she realizes that Dr. Giles Collins is performing some weird experiments involving blood. Everyone warns her that Barnabas is a vampire, but he is the only one apparently ready to help her. The situation at Collinwood is growing dangerous for Maggie, but she has faith in Barnabas...now, if he can save himself from Giles Collins, he can maybe save her.

Canadian author Dan Ross, under the pseudonym of Marilyn Ross, wrote this suspenseful, Gothic horror story, along with 32 other Dark Shadows novels. These novels were based on the American television show Dark Shadows (1966-71), but as they were written at the same time as the show was unfolding, there are some discrepancies between the books and the show. In spite of that, though, Ross's characters are wonderfully fleshed out, and story itself is absolutely gripping.

So, if you are a fan of Gothic horror, you will like this book very much. If you are a fan of Dark Shadows you will absolutely *love* this book. (I did.) I highly recommend this book!

The Pigman: LitPlans on CD
This is one of a series of literature resources developed by Mary B. Collins. What a timesaver! I haven't used or yet seen any of her other literature plans, but this one is an excellent resource for classroom or homeschool study of The Pigman and contains 116 pp. of printable materials. Included are reading assignments, study questions, vocabulary materials, writing assignments, tests of differing formats & lengths (depending upon teacher preference), and other activities. For more detailed info on this or other of Ms. Collins' literature plans, check her Teacher's Pet Publications website .... (I have no affiliation with her or her company, etc.--I'm just a very satisfied customer).

A timeless memorial to pretty girls artfully presented.
In the heyday of the pin-up girl, Billy DeVorss offered gorgeous women rich in color, glamour, fashion, and appeal. With a sincere appreciation of the female form and the romantic, artful eye of a painter, DeVorss pin-ups boldly engage the viewer with confidence, charm, and grace. These were sweethearts, not hussies, icons of love, not lust. Pin-Up Poster Book: The Billy DeVorss Collection is a timeless memorial of the golden age of pin-ups now available for a modern generation to rediscover what their grandfathers knew -- the inspiring allure of a pretty girl artfully presented.

Pioneer Crafts

Great supplemental activities!
This wonderful book is a great addition to your study of Pioneer days! All of the activities can be used to reinforce the daily life of the Pioneer families. There are activities and instructions for hand sewing a doll and her clothing; making useful, everyday things such as punched tin lanterns from tin cans and votive candles; or even molded candles. This is a great book for those hands on activities you need for history. It would even be good for studying the lives of children throughout history.
